Pocket Bike Racers: True Athletes

One of the least understood aspects of motocross by participants is the incredible level of fitness required of competitors. Many people familiar with the sport often assume that the pilot is doing nothing more strenuous than running a motor vehicle around a field, something that would be easy as driving the family car around the block. Not the case. Pocket bike, or ride motocross, was in fact turned out to be one of the most grueling sport in existence. If someone really studies the actions of a driver during the race, it becomes easy to understand very why.The pilot must maintain ultra-precise control of a computer that does not travel, but along the way, the type of terrain that Most people difficult to traverse. You must do this while maintaining a speed as fast as possible. The pilot is on a weight machine with a lot of weight and, in most of the professional elite, has an engine that drives them to almost seventy-five miles per hour in top speed. A driver's arms and legs move constantly during a race, fighting for control of the bike while absorbing the energy produced by high speed landings from heights that often exceed twenty feet, not to mention two feet high stutter shock (called crying) beating the crap out of both bikes and rider. The G forces produced by the test run of the absolute limits of a pilot strength and endurance. Finally, a race that usually lasts a minimum of thirty minutes professionals, if not more. This means that for half an hour, the fastest rider goes, the more violent and many times he or she is punished. Unlike NASCAR, there are no pauses, breaks, downtime, or pit stop National Sport Health Institute in Englewood, California tested several professional motocross rider in the '80s as part of a comparative study of athletes in different sports. Most of what was tested was the cardio-vascular (heart) fitness of athletes from different sports at all levels. Athletes from track and field, soccer, basketball, football and have been tested, among many others. The cardiac stress and strength has shown, to the astonishment of many, who had just motocross athletes highest level of fitness, like any other discipline tested. In other words, this is not a sport to get into unless you're willing to do the kind of conditioning high-level athletes in other sports have to endure to get to the top of his game. Argue however you want, but the evidence suggests that pilots pocket bike, motocross are athletes, and must be treated as such.
